Background:

This virtual museum was created as a "representation of a parable" for the final project of the United Lutheran Seminary course "BIB358—Proclamation of the Gospels in the Parables of Jesus" taught by Rev. Dr. Mark Vitalis Hoffman (Spring, 2021). It is based on lectures, readings, presentations, and discussions held throughout the semester during this course in addition to my own research.

Questions for Visitor Consideration:

  1. How does this work (re)present the parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus? What aspects are highlighted, what aspects are omitted?

  2. Of the exhibits you visited, which were you most drawn to and/or least drawn to (and why)?

  3. Were there any exhibits you feel do not belong in the virtual museum or any historical or cultural reference points (visual art, written word, performed music, etc) which are lacking? (For both, please let me know your reasoning and I may adapt the museum accordingly.)

Disclaimer:

I do not own the rights to any original material organized on this site. I have only gathered and organized digital artifacts which offer their own interpretations and (re)presentations of the parable of The Rich Man and Lazarus. All art, work, music, content, etc. belongs to their creator(s), and I have attempted to give accurate credit. All content has source website information included.
